Architectural Finishes
Robert Coyne creates distinctive architectural finishes that bring artistry to interior spaces. Specializing in lime plaster, lime paint, murals and traditional decorative painting, his work combines time-honored techniques with a contemporary style.
Lime Plaster
Lime plaster introduces depth, movement and a natural sense of age to architectural surfaces. Applied in layered finishes, it creates subtle variations in texture, tone and light that give walls and ceilings a handcrafted, organic character. From softly polished surfaces to more expressive, tactile finishes each application is uniquely developed to complement the architecture and create a timeless sense of place.
Lime Paint
Lime paint offers a soft, mineral quality that changes naturally with light. Its layered, breathable finish creates gentle variations in color and texture, giving walls a depth that cannot be achieved with conventional paint. Applied by hand, lime paint can range from understated and monochromatic to richly nuanced, adding warmth and character while allowing the architecture to remain the focus.
Mural
Hand-painted murals transform architectural surfaces into immersive works of art. Drawing from historic decorative traditions as well as contemporary influences, each mural is developed specifically for its setting, scale and surrounding architecture. Whether subtle and atmospheric or richly detailed, murals bring a sense of narrative and artistry to a space.
Traditional Paint
Traditional painting is rooted in the discipline and craftsmanship of historic flat painting, where precision, proportion and a refined understanding of color are essential. Approaching each surface with the care of a fine decorator, we create exceptional finishes with crisp architectural lines and carefully considered color. Whether restoring the character of a historic interior or bringing a timeless quality to a contemporary space, our work reflects the subtlety and attention to detail that define decorative painting.
